A 3-day Mathura Vrindavan tour package from Kochi/Cochin offers a concentrated spiritual journey to the heartland of Lord Krishna. Given the distance, these 3 days are typically dedicated to immersing yourself in the sacred sites of Mathura and Vrindavan, with travel to and from Delhi (the nearest major airport hub) forming the bookends of your trip.
While marketed as "3 Days," it's essential to understand that this refers to 3 full days of sightseeing in Mathura and Vrindavan. The actual trip duration from Kochi will effectively be 4 to 5 days when accounting for flights and road transfers.
• Travel from Kochi: The most efficient way is by flight from Kochi (COK) to Delhi (DEL). Direct flights take approximately 3 to 3.5 hours. From Delhi Airport, it's a road journey of about 2.5 to 3 hours to Mathura/Vrindavan via the Yamuna Expressway.
• Best Time to Visit: The ideal time for this tour is October to March. During these months, the weather is pleasant and comfortable for temple visits and outdoor exploration. Summers (April to June) are extremely hot, and monsoons (July to September) bring humidity and rain, which can be less ideal for extensive sightseeing.
Arrive at Delhi Airport (DEL) from Kochi. Your designated private car/driver will pick you up and transfer you to Mathura/Vrindavan (approx. 2.5-3 hours drive).
• Hotel Check-in & Freshen Up: Check into your pre-booked hotel. After freshening up, begin your spiritual journey in Mathura.
• Gokul Nand Bhawan Temple - dedicated to Krishna's foster father, Nanda Maharaj.
• Raman Reti - The sandy land where Krishna is believed to have played.
• Brahman Ghat
• Sri Krishna Janambhoomi - believed to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna.
• Dwarkadheesh temple - a prominent temple dedicated to Lord Krishna.
• Vishram Ghat
After breakfast, proceed for a full day of sightseeing in Vrindavan:
• Banke Bihari Temple - The most revered and vibrant temple of Krishna devotees.
• Nidhivan - this forested grove is believed to be the eternal stage for the divine Raas Leela, the celestial dance of Radha and Krishna with their gopis.
• Iskcon Temple - known for its vibrant spiritual activities and kirtans.
• Chardham
• Radha Raman Temple
• Prem Mandir - Experience the evening light show accompanied by chants and music.
After Breakfast proceed for Goverdhan Barsana sightseeing.
• Goverdhan Temple - Devotees believe that circumambulating the hill, known as Govardhan Parikrama, purifies the soul and brings blessings.
• Radha Kund - sacred pond where Lord Krishna is believed to have bathed after slaying the demon Arista.
• Nand bhawan(Nandgaon) - Nand Bhawan, also known as Nandgram Temple, is a significant shrine dedicated to Lord Krishna's foster parents.
• Radha Rani Temple - is a revered Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Radha and Lord Krishna.
• Kirti Temple
Late Afternoon/Evening Departure:
• Depending on your train/flight schedule, you will be transferred to Delhi Railway Station for your return train to Kochi/Cochin or to Delhi Airport (DEL) for your flight back to Kochi
This concludes your enriching 3 Day Mathura Vrindavan tour from Kochi/Cochn
